Well, shopping and mall walking are pretty much the same thing. Go ahead and shop yourself just a little bit healthier. Just forget the credit card at home.
I don’t think mall walking is very good exercise at all. Take a few steps, look at an item, take a few more, look again, and again, and again. I can walk a long distance at a good pace but cannot take mall walking any more than about 15 minutes before my back gives out from all the standing around waiting for my wife. I do love the malls that provide enough strategically placed husband benches.
Suffering from empty nest syndrome all over again. Older daughter and her two dogs left yesterday (she had to work today) and younger daughter and son-in-law left this morning for their 7 hour trip home. House really empty and quiet today.
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday this week and is looking forward to a great weekend.
Sadly, those two shopaholics couldn’t “forget” something they never once gave a single thought about to begin with ….. and given how preoccupied Irving looks, he’s not likely to remember to take Vivien and Electra out for a walk either. :-/
But later on, though, just watch the DOGS (rather than the irresponsible humans) be the ones to get all the blame when someone has to get down on their hands and knees in order to clean a huge mess up off the floor simply because NOBODY could be bothered long enough to take those poor, sweet, neglected little fur-babies out and it finally got to the point where they couldn’t hold it all in any longer! :-(
