Wow, where do I start with this one? First, they are adults and they should be able to spend money however they like. The only way her mom should have input is if Cathy and Irving are broke because of their spending habits and Cathy’s mom has to give them money, and then she should have some input into what they buy. But, contrary to logic, there is no evidence that Cathy and Irving are broke (well maybe at tax time), so if they want to buy gourmet food, that’s fine. Secondly, that’s kinda mean-spirited of Cathy to say her mom will be fine with the bulk, lower quality food. Maybe her mom is just watching her money so she buys cheaper food, but why would anyone willingly buy food that’s not good quality? I would never feed people different things based on what they buy themselves. Would she feed a poor person differently than a rich person? I would just give them good food! Finally, Irving’s analysis and eyeroll was hilarious, so I’ll join him with an eyeroll. :-)
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Now that marching band season is done, volleyball season starts tonight. As much as I love my children, I’m glad there is a limited time where I am racing around trying to take them places, juggle three schedules, and get everything done. I hope everyone has a great day!

We had a Brita pitcher for filtered water, and my mom refused to pour herself a glass from it. “Just plain tap water is good enough for me!”
