That is a choice, not a necessity

30 lbs? Ridiculous! Even when I had little ones, my purse was never that heavy. And now that my kids are older and need less from me, I just have a wristlet that has the essentials. I don’t care how trendy huge bags may sometimes be, I don’t think I’ll go back. I only use a purse when we go on vacation and I need a place to stash stuff.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! A long weekend of volleyball tryouts and marching band performances/competitions. Unfortunately Lil’s volleyball tryouts didn’t go great. The competition around here is fierce! Anyway, it’ll work out somehow. Have a great day, everyone!

I don’t think those huge purses are in style anymore. We carry separate tote bags now when we need to. I do remember when huge purses were a thing. I thought they were lovely to look at, a pain to hold! They had huge price tags, too. I didn’t bite.

My wife carries a tote bag around when we are on vacation. When asked, I can hold it for about 5 minutes before my arm gives out. Not sure what is all in there but I do know there is nothing I need. My camera case hold my camera and my extra eyes. My pocket has the necessary cards – usually just a credit card, id, and resort room key.

That is it! Back to rain again today. Ground is so saturated that the ground anchor that lifts our dock pulled right out of the ground. I am escaping. It is off to Phoenix again for the annual conference and then a few days to relax in Sedona. Hope everyone has a great week and a half while I enjoy some sunshine (and cold air conditioned conference rooms).

No big purses for me…ever….I’ve always carried a small purse and a tote bag if I need it for water and knitting.

Don’t forget the [eye-rolls]. Those could remove some weight from the purses, by rolling off of them—or more likely, increase weight by adding on …

    HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
