Mother’s Day was a bit of a downer for us this year. This was the first Mother’s Day my wife and her sisters had without their mother. That and we spent the day travelling back from Toronto after spending Saturday travelling back from California. We did have a great week with our daughters and son-in-law so that helped.
It is great to be back with the Cathy Clan again. I see by the comments I missed an interesting week but I have managed to catch up on the eyerolls.
Can we say “snowball effect”? Once these whack-a-doodles find one topic, it’s on to the next. Nice that they’re getting along and are spending time together, though.
Sorry to hear about your tough Mothers’ Day, hendelca. I’m happy some of it went well, though. And I hope you had a wheelbarrow for all the [eye-rolls] you missed …
Sorry for the bittersweet Mother’s Day, hendelca…I hope the good outweighed the bad….as for Cathy, Mother’s Day could last all year if left up to her Mom.
