Actually, the ladies have a point. That much weight loss in only three days IS water weight. True weight loss comes at a much slower and steadier pace — usually only a couple of pounds a week!
When it comes to weight-loss, I’ll take whatever I can get. I’d rather lose REAL fat, of course, but even if it’s only 5 lbs. of water, that just may be the difference between me getting something I want to wear today zipped ….. or not. ;-)

lightenup: How’s Lil doing? Better, I hope. How much snow did you get yesterday? We got a light dust-covering overnight (maybe about 1/4" or so) and by late-afternoon, it was gone everywhere the sun touched it. SO much better than Indiana these days where they’re having some of the coldest, snowiest winter days they’ve had in years. Looks like my husband and I got out of there just in time! ;-)

I don’t have much to say on this, other than it is probably water weight.
Hi Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Thankfully there was no school today either because now Jr and I aren’t feeling well. Lil is much better, although she got braces today, so her mouth hurts. My husband arrived home yesterday after a 10 day trip, and he is coughing from an illness he had while he was out of town. We are a mess. ;-) Sis, we probably got an inch or two, but was told that there was ice under the snow and it hasn’t gotten above freezing to melt. As I’m sure you can see, we get more ice than snow here. The roads that get sun have melted, but many of the back roads are still icy, which is what’s causing them to cancel school. I bet we’re going to have another day off tomorrow. You’re right, sounds like great timing for you guys!
