I want to spend My vacation laying out in the sun (with sunblock on, of course), soaking up the rays that I will sorely miss come winter! I hope you all had a nice 4th of July weekend! ;)

We’ve managed to do pretty good at our house. While the common living areas are all nice, clean, and tidy (even our garage is very well organized), our storage room on the other hand is an entirely different matter all together. It’s fairly well organized, too — especially on the one side that houses all my husband’s tools because it also doubles as his workshop — but the other side just has so much stuff there that you really can’t get to much of anything. I know for a fact that there are things way back in the corner of that room that are still in moving boxes that I haven’t seen in 25 years since we moved here! But that will all get fixed in the not-too-distant-future because we’ve talked about moving sometime within the next couple of years — which means that a lot of it will go in a yard sale before we do. Only the things we absolutely want and need will go with us to the next house . . . wherever it may be (we haven’t quite decided that part yet).

ORMouseworks: While I’d like to say that we had a really nice 4th of July weekend, I’m afraid that because it sounded like WW3 going off in our neighborhood with all the noise people made, our poor dog spent a great majority of the night cowering in fear in the corner behind our couch downstairs in the basement (as she always does at this time of year) so no, that part of the 4th of July wasn’t very good for us! Hope it was good for you and everyone else though!!!!!

On my vacation from school I haven’t gotten much done, mainly because I broke my elbow on May 21st, my oldest daughter’s birthday. I’ve just been watching tv, reading comics and going to appointments.Enjoy your day Cathy Clan!

When the war ended, the carrier went to Manila. We took over the Hilton. There were 500 officers and countless women. No wonder Father Sullivan told my wife not marry me. I was such a womanizer. I liked pretty women and there were so many. Lisa was so beautiful, but I knew she was always be hit on. She would be looking for something better. My wife is beautiful, but men knew she was a married woman. She just that way.
