Men are always competitive, women and sports. In college, my Lambda Chi brothers found it strange I would take women to dinner. To be honest, I found women could talk more intelligently. Karen, a Tri-Delt, was great to look at. She was a true blond, deep blue eyes and just pretty.. But what was best, she was charming and intelligence. So was my best friend, Chrissy. She loved to drink, but she had a wit. My wife is the smartest woman I know. She just knows what has to be done. She managed a $43 million estate. Her former boss, a former Marine Corp Officer, deeply missed when she left. She runs my life well.

Win, lose, win, lose, and so on and so forth…actually you Both win in the long run because you have each other and play off of each other quite well… Have a great weekend, all…see you back here sometime Sunday… ;)

I cannot believe she marries this guy…or that he marries her!

In P2 and P3, Irving shows he has learned how to win in the Cathy-verse. Say what you will about how neurotic characters in this strip are, I seriously wanted to give him a high five at the end.

All females pay attention! This is how men think! It explains a lot.

What would make Irving think that Cathy would like him better if he jumped up and down, gloating “I win! I win! I win! Yes! I win!” regarding him losing more weight than her on their diet? Given how nutty Cathy is, it ultimately worked out in his favor after he gave her a bunch of dumb-ass excuses for his behavior but that was a pretty big gamble on his part by doing so. Personally, I find juvenile behavior like that to be a huge turn-off but then, maybe I’ve got higher standards than some people do by expecting adults to act like adults in pretty much all situations instead of bratty children [whether they get their own way or not].

Friday the 13th is my lucky day! I figure with everyone else getting bad luck the good luck has to go somewhere so I take it.

I am going to miss all of you in the Cathy Clan for the next week and a half. We are off to go exploring castles and look for Nessie in bonny Scotland. Have a good week everyone.
