This is my mom… She prints out everything and has sticky notes everywhere. I’ve tried to tell her that she can search for most of it online, so she doesn’t need to save all those articles and emails, but she doesn’t want to do that. OH well… Meanwhile, my sister has gone through her house while she’s been in rehab and has thrown away bags and bags of things. I wonder if she’ll miss them.Good morning, Cathy clan!I’m sorry we couldn’t figure out how to fix your issues, sis! I do still have that email, but don’t use it much bc no one sends me anything. I will check it more often now. It’s lightenupcathy (at) gmail.com. Anyone (friendly) can email me if they want…

I give a big EYEROLL here too, although electronics seem harder to manage sometimes to me. Shygirl, we are TOO warm out here in Calif. The governor is supposed to announce we are in a drought today. Water rationing in many places already.

Rather than write out on sticky notes things to add and delete from her computer’s “to do” list later, why not just eliminate all that extra work by adding and deleting those things now instead?!? [HUGE eyeroll !!!!!]

    Hi, rgcviper!

lightenup: How’s your mom doing in rehab and how much longer is she expected to be there? [B/t/w: glad to hear you’ve still got the gmail address — just in case!]

Hello and Happy Friday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today.

It’s true though! (sad, isn’t it?) Before my mom’s stroke, I would have thought about substance abuse first also, especially since we so often hear about celebrities in rehab. It’s a shame that we hear more about celebrities in rehab than we do about ordinary people trying to recover from an injury or ailment… :-)

It’s a vicious circle, huh, Cathy?

Ironic, since [eye-rolls] are also (kinda) circular.

    Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan.

One of my clients told me recently that “rehab” just means “the old people’s home” because she was in there with lots of older folks who had really serious, life-threatening illnesses (as she did also).
