“Connected and committed”? They should be committed! They look like they’ve been married for years and are fighting like an old married couple.Good morning, Cathy clan! It’s Friday! Although I’m fighting a cold (“love” those back-to-school colds ;-)), at least I can sleep in tomorrow. Just got to get through today!

Well she is one third right. It helps to be committed before attempting a project like that…committed to going to the nuthouse afterwards. lol

Cathy just needs to go ahead and pay those guys Irving found to put it together for her before one of them ends up killing the other and then has to go to prison for the rest of their life! On the other hand . . . if you make sure a jury of your peers is loaded up with people who’ve also felt the pain and frustration of putting together furniture containing 1,000 pieces, you just may end up getting acquitted after all!!!!! ;-)

catsarge: Right there with you concerning the excitement of football season starting up again . . . only it’s a pre-season exhibition game tomorrow night with our boy, Peyton Manning, for the Denver Broncos and then next Saturday, the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) plays their first game of the year. UT’s got a brand new coach and I’m hoping that soon, we’ll have a brand new WINNING team too. It may take a couple of years or so to claw our way back up the SEC ladder again but if anyone can make that happen, we fully believe it’s Butch Jones with his can-do, will-do attitude!! GO VOLS!!!!! ;-)

catsarge and GretchensMom – Although I now live in the South where college football is king, I’m a pro football fan (Redskins) and I do enjoy a good high school game. It’s just fun to watch the enthusiasm of high school. :-) RG3 has gotten me excited about the Skins and I’ve added their schedule to my calendar so I can make a point to watch. (Obviously my husband isn’t a football fan, so we almost never have sports on TV)

Nope, Cathy’s Mom is dead wrong here — find out what he’s really like by building the furniture first — then decide if you want to live with it. We are on year 22 of getting the woodwork redone in this house — first down and toe moldings to go…..:)
