Bwahahahaha!!! I totally forgot about the handwriting that you had to use on a PDA! I had to go look it up and reminisce about how totally cool I thought my Palm Pilot was, and how funny we had to write so that a PDA would recognize our handwriting. But then the iPhone changed everything…Good morning nutty Cathy friends!! Hope you have a great day!

I hear ya, Cathy. I would have to take a day off of work just to figure out what all my 2-year-old cell phone (NOT a smart phone, mind you!) can do. I call, text, and take pictures – that’s it. I’m such a dinosaur.

Then I’m another one! I like a phone to text and receive calls, and I like a computer to sit there and behave itself until I decide to wake it up. I don’t want either a huge phone or a teeny computer, neither of which knows what it’s supposed to be.

I’m a complete dinosaur when it comes to electronic gadgets of any kind. I’ve never had a Blackberry, Palm Pilot, e-reader or tablet of any kind. My laptop is 7 years old (fingers are crossed, though, at getting a new one for Christmas 2013!) and my cellphone is a generic Net Ten pre-paid flip phone that I rarely ever use. Most people probably wonder how I live without all the new technology available out there today but I’m actually pretty happy with my life the way it is. Besides, I already spend way too much time on Pinterest enough as it is without adding a bunch of other stuff to it too!!!!! ;-)

    Hi, rgcviper!

Hello and Happy Thursday to all my nutty “Cathy” clan friends! Hope everyone has a really nice day.

kittycatpawsare: In answer to your question yesterday regarding how you find out how many comments you’ve left at Go Comics so far . . .

At the top of any GoComics page on the right-hand side, find where it says “You are signed in as kittycatpawsare” and click on your name. Look on the left-hand side of the page it takes you to. You’ll see your avatar (if you’ve chosen one, which you haven’t) and it will give you the following information: your user name, when you became a GC member and your bio information (if you’ve given any, which you haven’t). Under that is the “GoComics Stats”, which is where you’ll find out how many comments you’ve made since you joined.

[By clicking on your name (in blue on the left) on the comment you made yesterday, I can tell you that you’ve been a member since May 11, 2011 and you’ve made 143 comments on GoComics since then.]

Hope I was of help to you!

I’d do my ever-trusty [eye-roll] in response to this one, but it’s a little too true. [Sigh] Technology can be a peach, can’t it?

HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan members. Hope you’re all gearing up for Friday and the weekend.

Hi Cathyites!! Never had any of those devices. I only gave in on the iphone last year because my hubby needed a new phone (his just wasn’t working any longer), so we both bought iphones. It’s kinda fun but I’m sure I don’t use anywhere near half the functions on it — still having trouble even loading aps.

Wow rgcviper— I’m way behind you — I’ll have to step up my comment-making:)
