The difference nowadays is that you don’t get instruction manuals any more – you get a CD with instructions you can only read after you’ve already got the thing up and running!

Not very good for those who don’t have a computer to read them with.

Hate to be picky (naw, not really!), but this strip should have been dated January 1, 2002. Happy New Year, everyone!

I surely could use some instructions for the new iPhone I got for my birthday last Saturday. None came with it. LOL, my 15 yr old granddaughter told me she could teach me everything I need to know. A phone that talks to me scares me!! LOL*Back to the beach tomorrow. It’s truly my place to be!!*Happy New Year Cathy Clan. Be safe, be happy!! :-))

All too true. The more things change, the more they stay the same, I suppose.

HI, MOM! Happy New Year, Clan.

Happy New Year again Cathyites!! I still haven’t learned how to program my toaster. Luckily my hubby is an engineer and has a lot more patience reading all the manuals — if there is a manual. I know what you mean willi nilli, my I-phone didn’t come with anything — it’s just figure it out as you go. And believe me, if I can figure it out, anyone can.
