I would do that only if I had some (being a kid at the time) hot cocoa handy. Being an adult I would have coffee handy, I mean I wouldn’t do it at all.
I do have a metal canteen that I will sometimes drink coffee out of. I stuck it in the freezer as I wanted a cold mocha coffee, ended up stuck to the lip as I attempted to take my first sip, I just let the coffee inside thaw things out and I was fine.
