It’s too late for the “right” to apologize, but not too late for them to tell La Pierre where to go (like Somalia, naked, with an insulting ’toon of Mohammed tattooed on his chest). It IS time to regulate weapons of mass destruction, namely high capacity, semi-auto rifles, shotguns, and pistols. It is bullets that kill, and the ability to fire off many of them in a few seconds, has to be stopped.
I guess you feel Gorrell is incapable of seeing the tragedy and insanity of this shooters actions? Seems to be a pretty blatant statement that doesn’t excuse, but lays the blame squarely in the lap of the AR crowd…
It is NOT progress you want, but submission. It took a man who broke atleast 4 laws to commit this crime. Gun Laws do NOT stop criminals. When you anti-gun nuts learn that, then maybe progress will have been made.
Coburn is a doctor, or so he claims, and he’s firmly in the pocket of the NRA, and opposes every piece of legislation that might save lives, in fact, authored several pieces to make people LESS SAFE from firearm violence. Remarkable indeed for someone claiming to practice medicine. Yes, he, and his Oklahoma’s shame partner, Inhofe, are Republicans.
I keep thinking of those folks on the other side of the world that strap bombs to themselves and detonate themselves on a bus full of innocent people. I wonder if a guy like this would have done that – I have no idea. Sane people simply cannot understand this kind of crazy. And, by the way, while I am not a gun nut, I have taken two NRA courses on gun safety – in each one they scared the crap out of me by continually stressing the hard core responsibility that comes with gun ownership.
if there were 41 laws broken, and the laws are broken then get rid of the 41 broken laws. the only number taht really counts is the 27 dead chilren/teachers/administrators.seems to me we only need one law, and no, it’s not the law of the jungle.
^sarcasm!you know, when you see videos of backward countries where they are celebrating and you see them firing guns in the air, willy nilly, is that what you people want america to be?what about wyatt erp (an american hero?) banning weapons from dodge city, because it was too out of control? that is as much of our history as the 2nd amendment.

There were over 41 broken. Quit being ignorant and look them up for yourself.

Yes, I will support the argument that more laws will not prevent this type of tragedy. Try to keep up.
