Air Force One has an elevator that can help a man in a wheelchair get aboard. However, if that plane flies overseas, the man in the wheelchair is subject to disability challenges we’ve abolished in our country. The older I get, the more people I know who benefit from handicap ramps, parking spaces, and laws that prevent businesses from discriminating against the disabled. I made my Union comment under Lisa Benson’s cartoon but this one gives me another chance to express my anger at how Republicans voted against the UN Treaty that would have given the rights our country has given our disabled to people everywhere. And their reason for doing so was ignorant to a point of criminality. Respectfully,& Happy HolidayzeC.

Something will fill the vaccuum that unions leave behind and it may not be pretty.
