You see that JimDeMint couldn’t stomach four more years of a black president so he resigned in disgrace. Remember, his ONLY goal two years ago was to see Obama defeated. So now he is crawling away. Good riddance. The country is much richer without him in the Senate.
^My understanding is that Franken graciously allows other Senators all the national TV time that they crave, not taking up any himself. And his fellow senators like that a lot. -He does however, address his constituents regularly.-Maybe some Minnesotans could comment?
When William F Buckley was alive, he kept the John Birch Society from taking control of the GOP by using his magazine the National Review, he stood in the way of extremists taking over the party. But since his death, there has been the rise of the TEA Party or John Birchers in tricorn hats. The recent vote on ratifying the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) is proof. John McCain, John Kerry and a wheelchair bound Bob Dole, could not sway the TEA drinkers into voting for a bill that is based on the Americans with Disabilities Act that was signed into law by George H W Bush. Their hate for the UN knows no bounds.
And the trolls can’t stay on topic. This cartoon is about a divide within the GOP. Serious ADD. Or they just hate Obama so much that they see him when he’s not even there.
‘Why is Obama still campaigning for re-election.?’-He’s campaigning for the agenda that he ran on — and won on. -Aren’t you Fox “news” viewers that ones who bitterly criticized Obama for lack of leadership? Do you not consider trying to fulfill his campaign promises to be leadership?-Or maybe this is just another ‘not meant to be factual’ rants.
Did you read that there are two GOP-Senators that have announced that they will place a “hold” on ANY legislation that isn’t cleared with them two weeks before being brought to the floor? For any Martian reading this post: the GOP is in the minority in the Senate!!! The cheek, the chutzpa of these people is beyond belief…I did read that the only bill Republican Congressman Connie Mack has allowed through his subcommittee this year directly benefits one of the biggest financial supporters of both his and his wife’s election campaigns.

And trolls project, the three previous comments being proof of that.
