I’ve often wondered why not just “reset” the whole year, and start it on a Sunday? January 1 is ALWAYS a Sunday. Church would ALWAYS (for most) be on January 1, 8, 15 etc.

Cute cartoon.There is concern among some people about which day is the seventh, the Sabbath. So which day starts the week is an issue for those who keep the Sabbath holy as commanded.
I usually flex on Mondays. But this time, shifted my flex day to Wednesday added a couple of vacation days.. Yes. I went in to work today. Bosses let us loose a couple of hours early. Now I’m off until the 8th! Liking that.…… and yes Eddie. Those that made the calender have been taken to the dungeon. Unless they have a very good excuse, they will be terminated with extreme prejudice on the next working day. Which is problably what happened to those Mayan calendar makers. They didn’t come back to make a new calendar. ..=Happy New Year to Everyone! It is now, on the West Coast – 6 hours & 33 minutes to midnight and 2013.

When I upgraded my Microsoft Outlook, the Calendar weeks changed from starting Monday to Sunday. It will take me all year to get used to it.
