Well, nice to see that Vern did save RJ and that things are back to normal.

If it’s an all-inclusive package, I’ll take it.

Those who want Frosty and Santa and the reindeer should just leave Jesus out of it and get their own religion. See if it saves them when the time comes.

I have always wondered how reindeers bred for the extreme cold of the north pole could survive the tropics and I was certain that one day Santa would die of a heat stroke if he went there too often. Terrified. It took an uncle engineer to reassure me that Santa had a cooling system inside his suit. They are still laughing about it 40 odd years later.

it is a better display than many peoples’ display. better yet, hire a starving artist to do an industrial welding modern art sculpture.

Right. The very early Christian church chose the time so they could hide their celebrations amid Pagan ones and avoid persecution. After the Christian faith became dominant they chose to suppress others from celebrating the Winter Solstice.

Let’s celebrate life and the return of light.

There seems to be an abundance of lambs, kids, foals, calves, etc. In the fields around here in January-February, and the climate is quite similar to the Middle East. It probably was late spring, but the lambing argument doesn’t hold water.
