Good morning, Vagabonds: The plumber finally came, now both my toilets and my shower are working.
@MONTANA LADY: Chanukah can be spelled at least a dozen ways when written in Roman script rather than Hebrew letters. Since the 1st letter is gutteral, the 1st letter should be a CH, but for those who have trouble pronouncing the gutteral,or may pronounce the CH as in “change,” it’s often written with an H. Among the many ways Hannukah is written: Chanukah, Channukah, Hannukah, Hanukah and then those combinations without an “h” at the end. People often write my name “Arye” as “Aryeh” as in Hebrew it ends with the letter “Heh.”
Morning, Village.Very interesting, Arye. I think most of us have been curious about that.
Montana Lady, how have you been doing?
I went over to the house yesterday afternoon and painted the kitchen. It’s actually the first primer coat. The previous owner had painted it a dark green, which really looks horrible. We’re using Kilz for the primer. The green shows through it, so it’s going to require a second primer coat before we actually paint it.
Good morning, good people..The day is starting good, at least it’s dry. Temps in the high 20s..Well I see the CH here works much like the J in Spainish. Is my assessment anywhere near correct?.So David, when you moving in?.ttfn
@davidf42When you put on the second coat of primer you should have it tinted so that it looks somewhat like the final coat. The final coat will cover much better. I know from experience as I used a white primer over a color and I had to use two coats of the final color to cover the primer.
It’s 32 right now. Supposed to get up to 43 or so. Not too bad. I submitted a picture overlooking the Helena Valley from our front porch, and they showed it on the Weather segment of our local news show. Woo Hoo!
I’ve still have this cold/flu lingering on! The doctor said that I must have a “light” case of the flu since I had the flu shot. Normally the flu lasts forever when I get it, and it’s much worse than this time. At least I can function now!
Woodworker, that’s an excellent idea about the paint. Killz is a great product, but it doesn’t cover well in one coat. Also, I need to buy a DVD mailer, which I will do this afternoon, and your movies will be on their way.
Rita and David, I am still praying that both of you get well FAST!
David, I second the question: When do you think you will be able to move in? Will you wait until June when you retire to move out of the parsonage?
It’s so nice to hear everyones ups and downs-bumps in the road so to speak-
Quite here on the coastal front..@Rita-beautiful Avatar-now………..will you guys be on the local weather/news someday?- If so, I want to be first in linefor your autographs :) :-)

@DKRAM: You’re right about the “J.” My Argentine cousins and mexican friends spell it “Januka.”

Thanks for the explanation, Arye. Makes sense.

@JanCinLVYou don’t have to rush to send me the DVDs, I am just grateful for your kindness. Maybe someday I can repay you. Thanks again,

Thanks for your prayers also! It warms me that our “Family” thinks of everyone! What a great group this is!
