Anyone who fails to follow the most lockstep rightwing party line is a traitor by the standards of today’s Republican Party.

Hmm… I didn’t realize that by the seventh day of his Presidency, Obama had already been in office three years. He must be a Time Lord (which gets my vote)

You said “…let’s take a look at Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid & their friends on the far-out left”, and then failed to take a look. If you have a point to make, please make it. Otherwise, you’re all lead-up, and no follow-through. You seem to just assume that we’re in your brain, seeing the evidence you purport to have.

@coraryanYou just make stuff up, state it as fact, and accuse anyone who disagrees with you as having had too much Kool Aid. There is a lot of video showing Obama meeting with Boehner and McConnell during his first 2 years. They didn’t come together on much, but they met. That won’t disappear just because you want to believe differently.

I don’t have any problems with “conservatives” having their own opinions. It’s when they constantly accept, or make up, their own “facts” that gets irksome. I often disagreed with Arlen ons some issues, but I feel that most of his life, he sought to actually serve this nation. That’s more than most of today’s “conservative movement”, despite what they are conned into believing.

We lost some very good republicans in 2010, and some other very good republicans decided not to run in 2012 or were told they’d not get support from the RNC. There are still good folks in the GOP, but the Norquist doctrine is party first, country second. I have never wanted either party to have both sides of the legislature and White House because I feared what government would do without bipartisanship. The last four years we’ve seen it like never before. The last time the government was divided like this we started shooting at each other. That would probably interuppt internet service for a bit.Respectfully,C.
