    Eh. The only way to beat the odds on the lottery is if God WANTS you to win, and if God wants you to win you only need to play once. I played once, I didn’t win, and so it would be foolish to waste any more money on it.

    But giving God the benefit of the doubt, I’ve told him that if he ever DOES want me to play again, he should make the jackpot equal exactly $77.7 million. If I ever see a sign posting that amount, I’ll buy another ticket.

    It’s only a waste of money if you lose…

    I’ll sometimes place a small bet on something if I like the odds, but I won’t play anything where you have to beat the House. In the long run, the House ALWAYS wins.
