Until you learn to deal with x-ray vision, you might never realize that objects have surfaces.

If they still allowed cigarette advertising, Cap could get a mascot gig as Captain Viceroys.

So true!I never knew Cap smoked before, but I’m glad the smart/educational bunny is helping him to quit. ;-)

You got to love some of the old TV shows, movies, books, and stories cause they show how times and society has changed. There’s an episode of I Love Lucy that has them standing right in front of a Phiip Morris sign that’s rather prominently placed so it hard to miss. Bit of subtle advertising there (bet they sponsored the show no less) that you wouldn’t see today. Tody’s subtle advertising in sitcoms would be things like Coke or Pepsi signs or go tech with signs for companies like Apple, certainly no cigarette advertisments as it is broadcast media. I understand the reasoning but when I look at some of the older stuff I just have to kinda laugh and think to myself that that shows how much times have changed and what is and isn’t acceptable anymore.

It’s worse though with the PC police who want to eliminate everything from the older movies, shows, books, etc that are no frown upon by modern society. It’s ok we keep them around as long as we edit the offensive stuff out. That actually bothers me because in effect their saying that they don’t want people to know what society was really like in the past and their claiming it’s for a good reason.
