Not helpful Steve. Did you draw this before the debate? I thought both men did well but as one who has always been a fan of Joe Biden, and being closer to his age, I felt he was more in command of the facts and appropriately used the word malarkey as needed. I also thought Ryan did well and does not deserve the characterization applied to him here. These artistic comments help drive the wedge party extremists on both sides continueto hammer between neighbors and is just plain sad.C.

“Polls” didn’t show Ryan up 48-44 percent; the CNN poll did. The CBS poll showed Biden won, 50-31. Average of the two? Biden 47, Ryan 40.

I agree Biden’s mannerisms were off-putting, but he’s an enthusiastic guy who caught Ryan in contradictions and distortions time and again.

Ryan was more polite; Biden only had energy, facts, and reason on his side.

It is Romney/Ryan that disrespect/underestimate the intelligence of the average voter.

I and many agree that Biden was obnoxious, overbearing, and just plain rude. Folks, this is not how a debate is supposed to be. For a vice-president, Biden was clearly unprofessional. I say that Ryan won simply by trying to be civil, offering an olive branch to work with Democrats, and by presenting his points as clearly as was allowed when Biden was not interrupting or laughing.

The strip should show Biden drooling and in depends with that ugly smirk on his face. What a way to present yourself.

Biden did well. He’s not the clown the righties paint him to be. He is well versed, and well qualified to step in if the need arose.

Ryan is not stupid, but his handlers kept him to his “childish” responses, and inaccuracies. Joe just didn’t let him get away with the “falsehoods” and empty rhetoric the Republicans have been playing.

I liked the format better, because it DID allow them, both of them, a more “relaxed and open” format to speak, respond, and yes, challenge their opponent. The moderator was also able to sweep away some of the B.S. and demand some answers, and ask for specifics, which Ryan never provided.

Joe, as expected, had much more factual information to work from, and won on content.

Ryan wasn’t really all that childish, but; like Mitt Romney said in HIS debate statements, it does appear he taught Ryan how to lie, just like his five sons.

It was all a show. Biden rehearsed for a week and took a bullet for the team. The whole point was to take away from Ryan’s message.

Being the clown that he is, succeeded. Nobody is talking about what Ryan said, just how stupid Biden was.

Biden was a bit theatrical, which is a surprise to no one, but he did what he had to do – call them on their malarkey. Mission accomplished.

Old Uncle Joe was the rudest, most arrogant person in the debate. The only person WORSE was his favourite moderator, who didn’t actually “moderate” at all. I’m glad that horrid old man isn’t in MY family. What a PSYCHO he behaved like the whole time. And that CREEPY buffoonish laugh and smirk. He behaved BOORISHLY and utterly demeaned his office.
