I read one article that said, despite the optimists who say that this could be his chance to create real reform, that this is actually giving Dodd cover to give in to the insurance companies even more! Now he doesn’t have to defend himself for re-election. I hope to God that isn’t true. Fortunately, the leading candidate to replace Dodd is willing to kick corporate rump as needed - one article about him referred to him as “Lieberman’s nightmare.”

I am sorry to see this scum resign, for he denied us the great pleasure of throwing him out.

I am now establishing a legal residence in Nevada, so that I can help getting rid of Reid.

    Happy 2010.

motive, Did you read the NYtimes editorial? (“Will the Real Chris Dodd Stand Up?”) They were partially hoping the optomists are correct but also allowed for the possibility that he’d go to work in industry. I guess we’ll find out when he leaves.

Pete- go for Nye county- they’re apparently approving male hookers at the brothels there. Yep, Nye County, home of the “Sagebrush Rebels”–ha, ha-ha! HA HA HA!! Conservatism DOES have some “odd bedfellows”?
