Bob the Squirrel by Frank Page for September 30, 2012

I’m actually starting to dislike Bob – and I was someone who rooted for Frank to continue when he wanted to quit!

This is superbly drawn today. I love Bob and his mordant view of life.I love his crusty exterior.My dad was a lot like Bob.

I love the new Sunday look. I had a tree house too. I could climb up but Mom always had to get the ladder to get me down.

I knew who Opie was but had to Google Wonder Years. (facepalm) I am Old.

Never watched the Wonder Years, but still watch the Andy Griffith Show to this day. Can’t beat a good tv show, and since there are so few these days, “older” really is better.

No joke. In some places now you have to get a building permit. In some places a tree house is illegal.

No kid these days would want a treehouse, unless it had wi-fi and a game console.

I didn’t have to look up either TV show. We still get “Andy Griffith” and I remember “The Wonder Years”. Nice job, Frank!

My older brother and cousin built a swamp fort instead.
