I believe it was in 2010 that muslims blew up 4 or 5 christian churchs in the Phillipines because they dared to refer to god as allah. And they still trade their women for cattle when they reach puberty, throw acid in their faces and stone, rape and beat them for not following strcit sharia law. They teach their children; “our anger, our revenge and our wars are for generations.”
The cartoonist forgot to mention the US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan which killed millions. No apology there. And the thousands killed in the Palestine conflict.
Bombing Panama, Grenada, Kosovo, Serbia, carpet boming: Viet Nam, Iraq (twice), Afghanistan. Attacks in Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan. “Aid” with deposing Gadaffi (not a totally bad idea), watching Egypt erupt, no real help in Sudan (though south and north DO seem to be “working things out” now from recent report I got from a Sudanese citizen.)
Yes, the “Muslim world” has NO reason to expect more attacks from either the U.S. or Israel, other than Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and anyone else who stands in the way of the Jewish/Christian hegemony around the world.
The original statement from the State Department in Cairo certainly SOUNDED like an apology. "The Embassy of the United States,” the statement said, “condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions.”
Well, you’re just going to confuse him. “Reason? Morality? How could they be connected? The whole point of morality is that it doesn’t make any sense. If it made sense, why anyone could be moral, just by thinking. That’s no good. What use would religion be in that case?”
Waste of time, probably, but I also find that I can clarify some of my own thinking by seeing if I can make a point as clearly as possible, even if it doesn’t get through.

Muslims mostly kill other muslims.

Yeah, it takes a sports team to get Americans to work themselves up to a real riot.

There is a difference between apologizing and attempting to understand what provoked the riots and attacks.

OMG — exactly the same thing happened to me!!! I just didn’t know what to say. (And that doesn’t happen very often.)
