Albania has moved to LatinAmerica. :-|

Any lumberjacks on this forum wish to comment on the technique of felling trees shown in the cartoon? I was thinking perhaps a Canadian…

the earth is pretty resilient ….it has been around billions of years before puny @ss man showed up and started messing with it. it will be around for many millions of years more until our sun supernovas……it is the human being’s habitat that is perilous

it’s not ‘save the plane’ it’s ‘save our habitat’

Yep, looks more like beaver work “doc”. BTW, I’ve on several occasions found beavers squished flat by trees they felled. Hmm, I’ve also found “loggers” who didn’t figure out the angle of the dangle ALSO squished flat. In either case, it’s like digging a hole, there comes a time to stop what you’re doing.

^ & ^^^ Yeah, I 3rd that, I thought it looked more like a beaver’s work. Which is why I asked a Canadian Lumberjack’s opinion. ;-) But an American Lumberjack is as good, just probably don’t like wearing women’s clothing…

Nighthawks, our sun doesn’t possess sufficient mass to go supernova, nor is it part of a double star system, so the end of its days should be rather more peaceful. In any event, as you say, intimate, the question is not the Earth’s survival, but that of H sapiens sapiens ; indeed, the odds don’t like good….
