Odie already heard the sound while Garfield shook that gift that was supposed for Odie. Suddenly, Odie jumped on Garfield and held the dingle-dingle ball in it’s mouth happily! I don’t think Odie jumped out of the box and caught that dingle-dingle ball. Sheeshhh! Very funny!
You can even see the direction Odie came from. He wasn’t in the box, he ran entering from the right side, which became a punishment for Garfield for shaking Odie’s present.
there is “smoke-stream” coming from the right side,, showing how fast Odie came at a run,,, that dog can be sleeping halfway across town or across country at Jon’s parents and probably hear that “dingle dingle”, oh and i think thats Odie’s two bottom teeth not a bell on his collar..
