It seems that no matter WHAT the facts are, we each are perfectly capable of spinning our understanding of them until they support our preconceptions. I actually like that, when it’s about things like which music or food is best, because “variety”. But when it’s about something where the idjits can ruin it for all of us, I’m a lot less enthusiastic.

Trump has been blaming CHINA because they withheld the information and played down the risk.

As for Bob Woodward sitting on the information … yes, I am troubled by the fact that Woodward sat on this information that, if revealed, could have saved thousands of lives.

But the Trumpers are trying to redirect attention from Trump to Woodward.

• TRUMP is the one responsible for almost 200,000 American deaths and rising.

• TRUMP is the one running to stay in office, not Woodward.

WE MUST NOT LOSE FOCUS. We must not sucker for the Trumpers’ deflections. In the oft-repeated words of John Lewis, “Keep your eyes on the prize.”

Trump, the Russians and their trolls will do anything to redirect the attention away from the Trump Holocaust.

Avoid the truth at all costs! 190,000 lives is a small price to pay.

Withing 2 weeks of Woodward recording the quote, the Angel of Death had completely reversed course and begun shotgunning lies, distortions, and deflections, blaming everyone from China to liberal Democrats to the fake media for COVFEFE-45.

See the fallen God, how did it come to such a state ,we did but build a pedestal, a tall and narrow one ! ( you also could say Trumpie the Clown built his own pedestal of lies and it collapsed when the light of truth rose on it !

Simple solutions [lying, bravado, blaming, etc] to complex problems {Global warming, transgenic respiratory diseases, immigration, etc] have a history of failure, as does the “maybe this time it will work theory” applied to tariffs, xenophobia, and nationalism. Ignorance and disparaging knowledge/advanced-education also have a historically high failure rate as a problem solver yet they persist in American society. Is it not the time for a proactive change?

It’s like the pope forgiving all those who accused predatory priests and nuns.

Why didn’t Woodward say something sooner?

Trump is blaming Woodward for not coming forward with what Trump told him in the interviews. How Moronic is Trump? Another amazing item, Trump refused to be interviewed in 2018 for the book Fear, after publishing, goes into a fit about how awful it is and full of lies and Woodward is no good! So what does the stable genius do in 2020, agrees to be interviewed by Woodward, not once, not twice, but 18 times?!?!? My head shakes so much from his presidency, I am surprised it is still on my neck

Best you include State TV (aka Fox News) in that accusation of treason.. Sean, Laura and Tucker surely had the same information that trump gave Bob. AND.. they.. were the ones actively covering for trump. Mind, statistically more colored democrats died due to the cover up.. so, a small win.

There is a law concept “willful negligence”. I used to work in construction and we knew that if we were negligent and knew we were, we could face felony charges. Wouldn’t that apply to trump in this case?

This might be funny if it weren’t so true. trump supporters in my neighborhood have been adding yard signs to their yards since the Woodward story broke. It seems the more trump is exposed as unfit to serve the deeper his base digs in their heels.
