I’m reminded of a WWII cartoon . . . I think it was one of Mauldin’s . . . showing two American soldiers in a foxhole while, off in the distance, you could see a German soldier in his foxhole.
The caption read WAR OVER. One of the American soldiers was saying: “I don’t care what anyone says, I ain’t standing up until he does.”
