I don’t get it. If 3.5 million people were to cross our border this year it would be 1% of the US population. Most of the people crossing the border are young men looking for work. And that’s a good thing because the Agriculture and Hospitality industries would fold without them. The rest are families and unaccompanied children. Imagine how desperate you would have to be to send your child alone to the US in hopes that they may have a better future?
Yes we have an immigration problem. Yes, the border states have a legitimate beef with the feds over it. But for an allegedly Christian nation, we sure are un-Christian about it.
