Well at least they admit it. Even though their “stuff” is fodder for jokes and comments, it seems to work for Cathy and her mom. Heck, sometimes you just have to laugh at stuff in life, no matter how ridiculous.

Mom died too soon for us to become ‘best friends’ (can sons be best friends with their mother?) but we did spend a lot of quality time together in the year before she died. Dad did live long enough for us to become friends before he died so that was good.
What a great Mother’s Day weekend spent with my wife, both daughters – one of whom is a mother-to-be (due mid June). My sister-in-law and her husband joined us on Saturday so it was a mini family reunion. Great company and great weather. It felt good to go outside in a tee shirt all weekend. Even when we got back home last night it was nice and warm. This morning the world was white again. Blech. Glad the snow that fell has melted already.

Matching outfits! We never did that. Cute when one of the wearers is a little kid, but a bit “uncommon” for adults, but good for them to go for it.
