If your conscience is bothering you, there may be a nagging problem that you need to attack.
A clear conscience is the sure sign of a bad memory.― Mark Twain
wow, Hobbes can sleep really well
@Wiseguy411: I had forgotten that one.
If given the opportunity to suppress one’s conscience, some will jump at the chance.
When speaking to Hobbes, it is best not to tell him to go take a flying leap.
Calvin will never learn!
Hobbes satisfied his conscience; now he can R.I.P., even though he hasn’t passed away.
Great comic, great comments!
A splendid drawing, the movements of Hobbes, great!
See today’s “Bob the Squirrel” strip.
If you’re gonna diss a tiger – even a sleeping one – you were best put a greater disstance between yourself and the [dormant] feline than you have now. Even more if it an’tdormant!
Awwwwww. How sweet.
Sleep well, Hobbes!
Crouching Tiger, “Leaping Lizard!”
Nope. Staying here in the Rocky Mountains of Montana till college. note in the east, it would be 1:00 am. On GoComics time, it’d be 12:00, which is when it’s released to all time zones. The Mountain time zone would be 11:00, which is where I live. Pacific time would be 10:00.
In a National Geographic story on Tigers in the Wild some years ago, the author quoted, “Tigers are experts at doing nothing”
Wow. Calvin must’ve been knocked out, bc he didn’t go after Hobbes for that one.
Today’s strip could only have been drawn by someone who has a cat; and the ability to generate the cat-like persona in a comic strip. One heluva combination. You definitely have my respect. Great job!
I have always envied how cats sleep, anywhere. When its nap time, its nap time right now.
Just lay low til something exciting comes along, Good plan Hobbs.
I yawned, too, Hobbes!
Hobbes looks so peaceful when he’s sleeping!
Hobbes will eat Cal Lololololol
I might haft to get the Framed Collectable Print of this one.
What does is say in the book of James about watching what comes out of your mouth? The lion may sleep in the jungle, but Hobbes the tiger sleeps with one eye, er, one ear open all the time….
