Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for October 31, 1994
Transcript:
Janis informs Arlo, "The car has started making a really strange noise." Arlo tells her, "Despite being expected to share household chores equally.." Arlo walks off and continues, "I shall assume the traditionaal male role and have it repaired." Janis starts to look angry. Janis angrily shouts, "The car breaks down once every two or three years!"
Used to feel guilty about not helping out more, then realized we each have out self-imposed work duties. Me: anything needs repairing, income tax returns, getting propane tank filled, vacuuming, my own laundry, etc. Still feel guilty at times.
