These school policies are getting out of control. Suspension for weapon-shaped foods, checking out toilet paper… what’s next?

This one’s based on another true case, except the reason that school did this is because kids were clogging up the toilets with it.

What’s next? We already have 6 year old boys suspended for sexually harassing girls by kissing them. Or a mom who almost lost her daughter to CPS because the teacher visited a psychic who vaguely hinted that the kid was being abused. And the principal thought that was a plausible reason to suspect the mom.

It’s not the school policies themselves, but the whole concept of “Zero Tolerance” that inevitably leads to nonsense like this. Zero Tolerance means zero thought/intelligence, plain and simple.
