This is an argument that will not die. In the original release of STAR WARS, Han Solo shot Greedo under the table to avoid being turned over to Jabba the Hut. By the time of the rejiggered edition, George Lucas decided that this made Han a cold-blooded killer rather than one of the heroes. So he tweaked the scene, and now we see Greedo draw and fire first, so that Han is shooting in self defense.-—————————————-This matters oh so very deeply to many fans, who long to see movie justice to done by restoration of the original intent. Others wonder why any fans would prefer to have Han shown as a casual killer. I lean toward the latter, and am pretty sick of the controversy.
