Working Daze follows the employees trapped at MacroMicroMedia. MMM is a wanna-be software giant, and it's staffed by geeks and clueless management types. VP Rita will try anything that might make a little money (though her ideas usually don't.) Underpaid Dana carries he place and keeps it running, while overpaid Ed sleeps all day. Roy and Kathy are made for each other, and everyman Jay never knows when to keep his opinions to himself. Writer/creator John Zakour is a humor/sci-fi writer, whose work includes the Zach Johnson detective novels. Artist Scott Roberts was a longtime contributor to Nickelodeon Magazine, and is the author of the fantasy novel The Troubling Stone. John and Scott met when they both worked on the Rugrats newspaper strip.

IRL, a lot of business types (like myself) are actually going out of our way to avoid Facebook because of the way companies are now using – and abusing – it to spy on their employees and perspective hires.

Why does Rita appear to be putting on more weight the last few weeks? Where I work all social media is blocked, no cellphones allowed and to be honest I am surprised this site is not blocked. So I will have to give you “like” from here.
After an 8.5 hr shift , 3hrs round trip commute and 6 hrs sleep, I see no point in getting a FB account, or most other types.

Wow – up to 10 whole books!
There goes their disposable income for this month.

Very possibly true. Unless you’re doing Garfield or Dilbert, cartoonists make surprisingly less money these days than you might think!

I’ve been a fan of the strip for some time and I look forward to the new book I have a coffee mug a wall clock and the first book allready. I’ve waited patiently for another collection to be printed so I look forward to buying it when its finally released, I find ths strip to be my favorite so as long as it still makes me smile everyday I’ll continue to support it and all of your other ventures.

many companies have social media policies now. with rules like do not divulge insider info, do not post anything that would tarnish our company, etc…so, a lot of do nots. very few dos.

Guess I’ll have to leave the comment since Facespace is owned by the Evil Empire and will penetrate your firewalls leaving behind all sorts of vile hard drive eating meanies.
.
It’s true! I read it on the interweb.

I love it when people complain about using something that is completely free. So funny.

I temped years ago at a place that had only recently forbidden employees to play games or surf the web.
