    Lot of truth here but who says the world economy needs to go one way. Sure there will be some advantages but we will lose innovations that will never be explored. Countries will continue trade with each other, so I just don’t see the loss very well.

    Just means we will reach the point of no return that much faster. And the costs of trying to fix it will be of a much higher cost than stopping the use of all fossil fuels and moving to carbon neutral ones.

    Which makes sense. The less oil they need, the more they can sell to the West!
