Boots on the ground! Don’t count on America to come save your worthless backsides when you fail.

Fine, they’re welcome to the global cop role. It’s about time we started focusing on our own problems, solving our own puzzles within our own borders. America needs to quit hemorrhaging money overseas either as part of military ops or as donations. We need to take care of our own, there’s starving, homeless, and hopeless aplenty to help right here.

The tea-baggers have never forgiven the French for being RIGHT about Iraq. ( While they were wrong. )

Yeah taking hostages, Islamic Terroist and the fact that there are still tens of thousands of French in Mali. No the French have no business there.

Sorry but you don’t know what the Tea Party cares about. The Tea Party didn’t even exist when we went into Iraq and did not exist until after 2008 so please quit making stuff up.

I TOTALLY AGREE.
The world ran itself for Millenia without the US sticking its nose in to others business.

On ABC news last night USAF unloading cargo AND troops with baggage. May only be aerial port specialist, but they are going to be there a while.

They existed…they just used a differnet name, neocons…but they existed.

Would said “millennia” include WWI & WWII? I’m strongly opposed to our current “role” as worldcop, but there have been isolationist excesses in our past
It’s sad that the French have been sucked into this one. The problem, of course, is religion. Again.

Since the trouble in Mali is backlash to the American invasions of the Middle East, you are partially responsible. But you’ve articulated the American position very well: start some trouble, run away, and deny all responsibility.

The Mali situation IS at their back door, so to speak.

France’s invasion caused the hostage taking! So you are an interventionist too? I’m not, not with arms anyway.

The “Tea Party” (not a party) are just more rarefied Republicans no more. Just the balls to the wall fanatics is all.

“The “Tea Party” (not a party) are just more rarefied Republicans no more. Just the balls to the wall fanatics is all”.
Well you are entitled to your opinion. That being said but what are you talking about. First they are not a party, no news there, First they are rarefied Republicans just means they are a rare group of them, then no more which means they don’t exist anymore. Then you say they do exist because they are Fanatics.
