No action of Putin’s can ever be considered as Positive for the World.

Russia is kind of a fall guy these days but that does not mean Putin isn’t a Dictator, I wish people would start calling him that.

It’s worth noting that this is a Jordanian cartoon
The Jordanians have a major stake in the Syrian Civil War, Right now, their country is being flooded with refugees from Syria. Most are being taken in, but not the ones listed as Palestinians, they’re being turned back at the border.
The Jordan government hasn’t forgotten Black September.

One is the loneliest number.

I can only imagine the effort it took to alienate Putin, I honestly did not think it could be done.

“because…”?

Why don’t you defend your opinions? Trolls assert things just for effect, not to add substance to the discussion.

Wise to point that out. Context matters.

Putin walks a fine line. So much of Russia’s ability to pay its bills depends on the price of oil. So Putin rarely does anything that would encourage Middle East peace to the extent that oil prices would come down. However, he also doesn’t want MIddle East unrest and the uncertainty it causes to slow down the global economy, and therefore the demand for oil.

Which is why his hand is on the chess piece. He’s thinking…and balancing.

…and wondering, if Islamists take over in Syria, how Russia can profit.

I miss Reagan. He was a real leader.

And I thought trolls demanded others defend their positions instead of googling it themselves.

If Islamists take over Syria? More like how soon they’ll be back to chanting “Death to America!” once Assad is gone. At least this time we’re not arming the same people that will be killing our citizens in a couple of year.
