Hello, Singapore! Lemme note that when out of money, with a good education, an excellent credit rating, and a bundle of creative ideas, each with enormous remunerative potential – STOPPING SPENDING – makes about as much sense as stopping eating. About. There are physical benefits to controlled fasting. I see none in aborting economic growth in the name of (current) Republican Economy Theory.

Interesting that this editorial cartoon from Singapore and the other from Dubai have a much clearer grasp of our political reality than our editorialists here in the States! One wonders why.

When the car explodes, everybody burns. How many Americans are in the back of that truck?
    Sadly,

Actually the foreigners have no grasp on what’s going on in America. I wonder what they write about their other countries that never appear on gocomics.
I’d make fun of the president of Singapore but I don’t know who it is. And don’t care.

Unfortunately they do know what is going on, and how it has affected them, your ignorance is matched only by your laziness. US is going down the toilet, dragging the rest of the world with it, with your attitude it is easy to understand why.

You seem to think that just because you don’t know or care what’s going on in other countries, that it must be the same for foreigners. As someone with family in other countries, and has visited many other countries, I can tell you first hand that the rest of the world is VERY interested in what the US is doing. And why not, we have the biggest economy, the biggest appetite-per-capita for consumer goods, the biggest military, the most exported culture(s), the most global impact of any country. It’s in their interest to keep an eye on us and understand what’s happening here.

So much of that evidence is the lower taxes (for the rich) and continue to raise in spending in the National Security State. Now that is a good way to trash an economy. Thank you Cons.

Taxes just went up for the rich, in truth it went up for all of us and you can thank Harry Read and Barack Obama for saying the Republicans are the enemy of the American people.

You mean taxes went back up to what they were before that fiscal idiot GWB lowered them and boosted the military budget at the same time? Yes.
