Todd applied for lady parts scientist by quoting his job experience feeding the storks at the petting zoo when in jr. high school.

Cognitive dissonance is a terrible thing.
Especially for those who require certainty in all things.

These things happen when you get your degree from a religious college.

    We don;t need no education
We don’t need no science control
Of what children learn in the classrooms
    Science leave our facts alone.

Wow, Todd uses EXACTLY the same method Rush uses to check his stories for accuracy…“He Thought about it for a few Minutes… ’I’m convinced’”!
Another legend in his own mind!

I happen to disagree with his position, but at least Paul Ryan is consistent: if you believe life begins at conception, then, as he says, the manner of conception is irrelevant: a life is a life and should be protected. Akin and company are just trying to rationalize this.

My wife had four miscarriages. Does this make her a murderer? Am I an accessory?

Why is it that the largest and loudest proponents of " Right to Life" issues are men ? Politicians and priests, what gives them the expertise on women’s reproductive rights ?
What is this deep-seated cultural fear that men have which makes them want to keep women in a subservient role ?

Steverino, if Akin were right (LOL), yes, your wife would be a murderer, since the pregnancies were terminated by her body.

Bob Marshall is a Republican, of course.

“We’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers,” Romney pollster Neil Newhouse said at a panel organized by ABC News.

    @Gokie5

So, the Romoney Campaign slogan needs to be changed to “Don’t Confuse Us With The Facts, Our Minds Are Already Made Up!”??
    Sounds like FAUX “news”!

This isn’t a question of life since the egg and sperm are alive too. What it is is concerning being a citizen. You can’t be of your life support system is another person who is a citizen. A fetus cannot be except on paper.

They figured that out decades ago. Put up women who agree to be the front women to their interests. All this concern about aborition is new anyway. Not till the laws were made in this country to prohibit it in the early years of the 20th century on a national level.

Republicans are strenuously against abortion. Sometimes violently so. Sometimes murderously so (Dr Edmund Tiller).
    -
Yet they are totally unresponsive when asked about reducing the amount of unwanted pregnancies.

There’s a very simple solution to all this. The Gov gets to ban abortion for rape victims, only if they agree to pay for the lady’s care until giving birth (and subsequent adoption fees.)
