Michael Jantze¹s The Norm is the comic strip for the every-person -- that is, if that person is a little bit geeky, in touch with their inner child, constantly confused by the opposite sex, and willing to be a little goofy just to keep things normal! The clever dialogue and bold art style are perfectly complementary to the unique observations and imaginative adventures of the title character - Theodore Norman Miller.

What memories

Does anyone remember when viewmasters were not toys? Before the red & white toy version, professional and amateur photographers used to create and develop stereoscopic pictures of their own. (Yep, turtles live a long time, I know).

It’s just you. ;-)

BTW, Viewmasters are still around. They’re not as ubiquitous as they were before 1980 or so, but I still see them for sale in toy stores. And I still have two from the sixties, along with a bunch of old discs.

And the foreign country ones came with a coin.
And don’t forget the little booklets, ‘Edited by Lowell Thomas’.
