    Here’s one I just made up:
    :
    Knock knock.
    (Who’s there?)
    Heisenberg.
    (Heisenberg who?)

    Fermat’s last theorem states that there are no 3 positive integers which satisfy the equation

    an  +  bn  =   cn

    if n is greater than two.

    Me I prefer what happened when René Descartes was asked by his bartender if he wanted another drink.

    When René replied, “I think not,” he disappeared.

    “Can you prove that?” Yeah, but it’ll take about 8 years.

    @dukedoug

    Is he “BARF-ly” as in “vomit,”
    or is he “BAR-FLY” as in a drunk?

    Oh right, I remember….both!
