Did he only bring two of the reindeer? If so, what did he do with the others?

Anyone else think it’s a bit odd to have a storyline involving global warming where the visuals are obscured because of a snowstorm?

@scpandich That’s why the preferred term is “global climate change”. More heat in the atmosphere = more energy = more powerful storms. It still gets cold in winter, but with more energy and more moisture in the air storms are more powerful.

Think of a graph going up in summer and down in winter: now the extremes are getting more so, zinging further up and down.

The “landing on the roof” thing is a myth. He actually parks the sleigh on the road and rappels up to the chimney.

No landing deck but plenty of poop deck.

Another way to look at it: The amount of water that evaporates in the Gulf of Mexico at 80 degrees creates more snow when it hits a 30-degree air mass in the Midwest than the water evaporated at 75 degrees hitting a 25-degree mass.

The North Pole will still be frozen solid in winter, with snow falling, but it will be ice-free in September. Perhaps in 2015, perhaps later.
