How did he get past the ‘you must be this tall to get on this ride?’
(Considering he rode his crib down the Autobahn, I suppose this is nothing.)

I watch BBC news where I live and they were showing that building yesterday, with people frying an egg from the reflection, among other things. Apparently the mirrored glass is causing the problem on those unusually hot days that London is getting more of lately.

I used to live in Radlett, a little village just a bit north of London. We had lots of sunlight! Actually, summer was very pleasant, what with all of the bar-b-ques at the aero club and such. Come to think of it, I remember very little rain, and throughout most of the summer, very few clouds.

It’s much nicer than here in the Ozarks, where summer is excessively muggy. Despite stereotypes and what one might expect from an island, it was actually a dry heat. Most of the rain and clouds comes during the winter.

I can’t believe that, during the entire design and construction process, not one person thought “Hey, this is sort of like building a giant parabolic mirror… might not that cause some problems?”.

Bad news folks. Bank just hit me with another $230.00 in fees so I might have to cancel my appearance in Baltimore.

Don’t ya just love ‘em ? I live in Ecuador and my bank is in Florida. They don’t miss an opportunity to hit me with a unexpected fee, which affects my over-draft protection, which in turn generates another fee, which… ad nauseam ! And it’s not like I can just walk in and complain or try to get it straightened out. Phoning is real fun !
I definitely feel your pain. Wish I could help.

We had two sunny days in England – the day we were sleeping off jet lag, and the day we left – AFTER I got back from finishing off a film roll in Kensington Gardens.
