Germans aren’t Huns (despite WWII propaganda). The closest European descendants of the Huns are the Magyars. At the time of the Huns, the Germanic tribes were well established.

Well, “jawohl” is a little more emphatic than just “yes.” Think military “jawohl, mein fuehrer!” type of thing. Or even the naval “aye, aye, sir”
