    Oh, I dunno.
    I kinda like being older.
I can make my own decisions—wear what I like, eat and drink what (and when) I like, do what I like (within legal limits, of course).
    Great background shots, BTW.

Were Queenie not such a lady, she would surely say, “Shut the Puck up already!”

The sunset of our lives like the times of the year in temperate zones, even as they are migrating further north each year.

    For another perspective:

    Summertime. Summertime.
    In Texas.
My brain’s so baked that I can barely rhyme.
    It’s summertime. In Texas.

How I wish that winter would be on its way.
    And it’s only May.

    Like sands through the hourglass,
so are the days of our lives . . .

“Time is Too slow for those who wait, Too swift for those who fear, Too long for those who grieve, Too short for those who rejoice. But for those who love, time is not.”

“Slanted rays and colored days, stark blue horizons
Naked limbs and wheatbins, hazy afternoons
Voicing, rejoicing, the wine cups do bring
Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses”
    Gordon Lightfoot
