Hmm. Since we saw the Red Baron yesterday, and (sorta) the Kite Eating Tree today… any chance Snoopy and his Sopwith Camel will come to the defense/defence of HRH???

Some people debate whether Franklin actually performed the kite experiment or simply proposed it in letters exchanged with scientific colleagues. One brave Prussian experimenter did try it and was electrocuted. In any case, the most popular misconception about Franklin and his kite was that he “discovered” electricity. It was already known; his declared intention was to determine whether lightning was an electrical phenomenon.

Looks like Her Majesty will work for Peanuts.

Apparently he did – but what he got wasn’t lightning itself, it was the potential difference that can lead to lightning.

    Luckily for him

So… he, Ben, might have proposed it, on paper (not done it) and lived — while another guy read Franklin’s paper, DID do it and fried?
    Hmm. Okay…
Where was Youtube when we needed it? C’mon guys — earn your keep! Talking animals, cute babies and stuff are great, but this is HISTORY (echo, echo, echo)…!

And doing it will make you history….Likely long forgotten history

(chuckle) Or… the Peanuts crew may jump in to work to defend her. Saving HRH and her royal… stuff from the vagaries of ugly attacks, and cruel people?
Peanuts has always — my read only — trended noble.
