It’s very hip in the view of your peers not to care what people think.

This is the way I feel when virtually ALL of my friends and acquaintances are discussing Downton Abbey. I’m sure it’s great, but I can’t be bothered to catch up (3 seasons?) so I can share with them. Ah well — I was on the other side of the wall in the 80s when I was one of the few people watching Doctor Who.

I was born alone, and I’ll die alone. The only company I had and will have is the Lord God Almighty.
Of course, having a wifey and bra… kids would be nice, but it’s cheaper NOT to have them. LOL

The trick is getting the others to care about what you think.

Toby, Toby, Toby. Do the Clif notes – watch the previews, catch the ending and then just nod at the right time with your friends. …….. though that would entail keeping the mouth shut…… Toby, Toby, Toby……… ;).

I discovered Dr Who in the early 70’s. Heard about the existence of Downton Abbey this month.
    .
but then there are a lot of shows I haven’t watched or only watched about 1/3 to a half of a few TV series that lasted 7-10 years.
