At his age, Toby should have at least 3 autobiographies published by now…

Hmmm … Toby, you’re part of Generation “X” – you grew up learning how to use “new tech”. You can’t just drop it now! (I’m Gen Y and I KNOW I couldn’t!)

Toby doesn’t know he will have to fend for himself, does he? No indoor plumbing. No laundry. Though for a teenager that might be a plus. But no mom cooking dinner.
    .
yeah. that’s what’s going to get him to come home. No mom to cook his dinner.

Yep, Toby is generally 15… that being the funniest of all the teen years. One of those years when you think that living in the woods is possible, because you can’t imagine what the difficulties might be and there’s not a chance you’ve actually checked into it. Old friend of mine, at that age, “moved with some buddies” (ran away with friends) to Florida, thinking they’d live on the beach and work at McDonalds. Never occurred to any of them that you can’t write ‘the beach’ as your address on a job application, and that you need to know your own social security number.

We had to read “Into the Wild” a few years ago in 10th grade. Man, I hated that book.

Really? I recall reading the Outside article, I think. I got the audiobook version of Into The Wild. I liked it. I guess I should write some Hubriscomics about it.

@jOhndrAkE (vowelsUP,consonantsdown): if you find it impossible to be cautious, at least try to accept the inevitable with grace.

No, not Grizzly bear, Grizzly man.
Check it out at Wikipedia, or Google Grizzly man death photos. I’ll warn you, you will find photos of his partially eaten body.
